Birth Documentary

I start before that beautiful moment your little one enters the world. In fact, I start with YOU. Intimate moments, like the birth of your child, should be shared with someone you trust and genuinely enjoy being around. If you’re going to be stuck in a room with someone for 8 to who-knows-how-many hours, you should probably like that person.

Birth Documentary Sessions are the most incredible thing you’ll have to cherish in your journey, absolutely nothing compares to those first seconds when you finally embrace your new babe. And if you’ll have me, I’ll be there to capture the details, the expressions and the unforgettable moments before, during and after you give birth.

I know what you’re thinking, though. Your water can break at any moment, so how do we make sure I’m there to capture it all? Well, in addition to an in-person consultation to discuss details, I’ll be on call starting when you reach 37 weeks. That means it could be 2am and I will answer my phone! You’ll also receive unlimited coverage of your labor – no matter how long or short – and at least one hour of post-delivery coverage.

Speaking of which, I tend to take a more documentary or photojournalism approach in my birthing sessions. There will be no posing or prompting, just pure raw emotion and real moments as they happen.

I am a certified Birth and Bereavement Doula proudly through Stillbirthday, as well as trained in Infant CPR and Safety.

Fresh 48 sessions are a fabulous alternative to a Birth documentary. Whether you want a private birth or you’re on a tighter budget, a Fresh 48 can still capture those first often forgotten moments. Similar to a Birth, I am on-call for your Fresh 48. Just let me when you go into labor, and I’ll find a time with in the next two days to come visit you and your new little one!
